  • After the company decided to stop sending out the letters and emails to customers to save more money, they noticed a 25% drop in their in orders versus the previous year
  • The president of the company admitted they committed a mistake
  • According to customer feedback, customers not only appreciate, but were also relying on those cards and letters to serves as reminders to place new orders or renew memberships
  • To rectify the mistake that they did, they sent out a huge post card campaign by the last part of the year and their sales turned around
  • According to the article "Just doing the old boiler plate mass advertising is not what this is about". The key is one-on-one mailers, finding a way to quickly and easily send out a personalized mailer. Something specific and unique for the person you are sending to.
